Hi everyone!
We’re nearly halfway through January, and now is the time to really focus on taking action and staying consistent. It’s easy to let motivation waver, but showing up (just like you did last night!) is the key to seeing progress and feeling great.
Why Pilates Is So Good for Us
Pilates isn’t just about the workout—it’s about building a stronger, more connected body.
Core Strength: Every move we do in class builds a stronger foundation in your core, helping with posture and stability.
Stronger Glutes: You’ve all been smashing those glute exercises , and trust me, strong glutes make such a difference for balance and lower-back support
Full-Body Changes: Pilates works your entire body—no muscle group gets left behind!
Why a Plan Helps Us Stay on Track
Having a plan lets us track the small wins that lead to big changes. You’ll start noticing how much stronger you’re getting, how your balance improves, and how those exercises feel just a little bit easier each week. Adding core sliders last night was a great way to challenge you and you all handled it so well—I was so happy you went for it despite looking a bit worried!!
The Most Important Thing? Taking Action
Mid-January is when we often lose a bit of steam, but you’re here, putting in the work, and holding yourself accountable. That’s what makes the difference. Showing up means you’re already ahead of where you were yesterday.
What’s Next?
I’ll share today’s workout in the group on the app later so you can keep practicing at home.
I’m also doing a little research to find some great options for ankle weights, and I’ll post those links soon if you’re ready to take things to the next level.
You’re doing amazing—let’s keep this momentum going!
